Divide your dissertation into defined phases

Writing a thesis is a process with well-defined phases

The details of each phase vary slightly depending on your field But for most dissertation writers, the steps are first, gather ideas, second, edit and analyze data, and third, polish.

Case study: thesis at ESEI

One of our students, Rodrigo Ramos Sampaio, who studied international relations and international trade, defended his thesis two weeks ago. He chose to focus on sustainability and entitled it Towards a Green Future: An Analysis of Supply Chain Sustainability in the European Union Soy Products Industry.

We asked him about the thesis process, from concept creation to completion, and what he thought of the experience.

Reason 2: It’s probably a scam.

If the thought of being blacklisted for academic misconduct doesn’t scare you, the thought of cheating should scare you. But how does a little cheating in college break the rules?

Well, the main reason most people get a degree is to find a job or improve their employability. Of course, employers don’t make their decisions based solely on your qualifications, but your education is still an important factor in the hiring process.

Topic chosen by yourself

How to write a thesis by yourself? When you’re traveling alone, the decision-making process can be a bit easier than writing in a group. If you are interested in a particular thesis topic, there is no need to agree on someone else’s topic.

You can go with the flow and choose the topic you really want to write about. Because thesis and passion must go hand in hand. Also, some research methods may be used that you are more comfortable with than others, which is entirely up to you.

You are very flexible in your schedule when you work alone. Plus, you don’t have to consider someone else’s hectic schedule when you spend time writing a thesis. Many have a part-time job in addition to their studies, and in this case it is much easier to organize your thesis writing considering only your own schedule. Also, you don’t have to worry about the distribution of tasks. Maybe you work better under pressure or do well when you have a lot of free time. The good news is that you can do exactly what you love without having to adapt to someone else’s approach. This is definitely a way to write your thesis more efficiently.
