While working through a series of reader questions, I came across the following question that needs a bit more explanation:
Hi Eva (and everyone else).
From thesis to book – Things to consider
Since most PhD papers are published as journal articles, there are several things to keep in mind when weighing your options regarding the publication of your research in the future. Depending on the scope and breadth of your topic, you may want to use only parts of your thesis or dissertation in a book, or collaborate with other researchers to contribute to a collection of research on a topic. Another option considered is turning a thesis into a journal article, as a first step in writing a full book on the subject.
But if your goal is to publish your doctoral research as a full book, there are a few things to consider. These are the same things that a book publisher will also look for, as their goal is to connect the work of their authors with that of their readers. It is this relationship, between writer and reader, that publishers value when considering whether a book will reach its audience.

Make a plan
How to say them, fail plan n is not failure, And nowhere does that sentence make more sense than when writing your essay.
Of course, writing an abstract takes time. But the good news is that you can recover this time later when you are writing and it will definitely allow you to write your essay much faster.
The stage of progress or proposal
The stage of progress of the thesis cannot be easily determined because it is the stage where the foundations of the thesis are laid. This is also the stage where you communicate with committee members.
This stage lasts between 3 and 6 months. The time spent writing consists mainly of refining the focus and topic of your thesis.
