You should always know what your assumptions are or what questions your thesis asks.
It may seem obvious, but many graduate students do not present their full hypothesis before beginning their thesis.
Always set goals and have plans
They will help you get back on track and remind you of the old intentions you had when you started your thesis.
Like the time of the thesis, it is very useful to have goals and plans to keep you on track and on time. Write down not only the long-term plans for the final results of the thesis, but also the achievable deadlines in the short term, and keep them constantly updated. What do you expect from the final report? How much work do you need to do in the first 3 months? What are you going to achieve by the end of this week? And so, what do you have to finish today? But remember, set realistic goals and allow yourself to change your plans if necessary. Thesis work can be unpredictable.
Getting Started
Start broad by simply choosing a search area in your domain. Based on your own interests and the problems you know exist in that area, narrow the area down to one that has a specific problem to solve, but also has existing research to build on.
Start by brainstorming and doing free writing exercises to get your mind moving in the right direction. Tell others about your ideas and research your topics to find out what information is available.
This will help you create a short list of options.

Look for opportunities in the published work of other professionals and students.
If you can get hold of a theses or two written by other students, take the time to read them with an open mind to the holes in their work. You can do the same with research published in trade journals or industry association journals. Researchers often notice when additional research is needed for topics related to their own work, and you should add these suggestions to your brainstorming list. These ideas may not catch your eye, but they are clues that pave the way to hot topics in your field.
Many people find their best ideas by doing creative activities that have nothing to do with their professional life. For example, many students benefit from free short writing sessions that allow them to brainstorm problems and find solutions without stress. You can apply the same concept to pottery, dance, or any other creative outlet that affects your life. If you are not a creative person but are torn between many ideas, create a vision board or collage with images and words related to each idea. What catches your attention and makes you happy? Which do you think will have the biggest impact on your business?
