There is a lot of discussion online about writers’ fees. What is the best way to submit a project – with the floor? On time ? with the project?
They all have their uses, especially since some publications and companies often use one or the other of these methods to decide what to pay. .
How fast are you typing?
Have you ever got lost in the middle of a sentence? You know what you wanted to say, but halfway through, the thought escapes you. The faster you can write it, the easier it will be to capture thoughts before your mind moves on to the next thing and you forget what you were trying to say. Typing skills are essential in today’s world. Consider using typing games to improve your speed.
Faster is not always better. The more detailed your report, the more time you should spend on it. I can usually research and write a very technical 1000 word article in three hours, but remember that I am a professional writer. I’m fast because I write all day, every day.
How long does it take to read 100 pages?
The average time to read 100 pages is a personal matter that depends on each individual and several other factors. As we mentioned earlier, statistics indicate that an average reader can scan around 300 words per minute. This average was calculated by comparing the speed of normally literate people who can read and understand text at a normal speed.
Using simple calculations, including the average number of words on a page, we can quickly conclude that the average time is around 2 hours and 45 minutes to read 100 pages.
: Listen to music that helps you focus
Some writers like to work in silence, while others listen to music part or all of their time. Many people find that good music can help them get into the flow of writing.
It’s up to you what you listen to: I recommend choosing an artist (or even a specific album) that you already know, so that the music sounds like background information and not something of additional concern.
